Internal EOI - Acting Site Manager (Leave Relief)

The leave-relief position is:

  • Closed-term full-time from 19th December 2025 to 9th January 2026
  • Working Monday to Friday
  • Based at North Parramatta
  • Level 6 on the Flourish Australia Enterprise Agreement (2018)

About the Role 

As a Site Manager - Community Businesses with Flourish Australia, your role is to achieve Flourish Australia’s vision by providing a high quality and responsive recovery oriented service that best supports people with a lived experience of mental health issues to achieve their hopes and dreams. Reporting directly to the Regional Manager, Community Businesses, you will work with people who access Flourish Australia to achieve their full potential by getting the best out of your team. You will achieve this by working with integrity and in a professional manner with the people who access Flourish Australia, your team, and interested stakeholders. 

The Site Manager will also have direct responsibility for the management of onsite vocational support and ensuring that supported employees are provided with the vocational skills and support required so that they can transition into, and maintain, meaningful open employment.

Selection Criteria

Essential:

  1. Relevant qualifications for the service offering &/or extensive relevant industry experience.
  2. A minimum 3 years’ experience in a supervisory capacity (ideally in the mental health or community sector).
  3. Experience fostering and sustaining partnerships as well as ability to influence stakeholders at all organisational levels.
  4. Understanding of the challenges faced by people with a lived experience of a mental health issue and how providing a recovery-oriented service is of benefit to people.
  5. Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and ability to fully utilise the client information management system.
  6. Current Australian Driver’s Licence.

Desirable:

  1. A carer role or having a lived experience will be an advantage.
  2. Relevant qualifications in frontline management.
  3. Sales and marketing experience.
  4. A forklift licence (is only required for packaging sites).
